Developing Innovative Logistics Solutions for Chicago
Logistics is the art of moving stuff efficiently-- from the groceries on local store shelves to the packages arriving from internet orders to your doorstep. Logistics impacts everything from how long you sit in traffic to whether fresh fruit is in stock at your neighborhood store all summer long. Its companies are some of the fastest growing in Chicago, and they rely heavily on data and software to get the job done. This first-ever Chicago Logistics Hackathon focuses on issues which affect quality of life for all citizens of the region and uses the data and tools that fuel our local logistics industry to develop innovative solutions.
